We are so lucky to have Malai just down the road from us-- it's always a solid choice for dinner and we dine here often. ANYTIME my Mom is visiting, it's a no brainer that this is her preferred dining option upon arrival... she's a tough act to please and Malai has never disappointed in fulfilling on their excellent food and service. The bar, main dining, and closed in patio seating are all fantastic seating options. I will say that Malai keeps the AC blasting so bring a light jacket or shawl if you tend to be cold. The hostesses are always so kind regardless if you're visiting for dine in or picking up an online order. You'll always see a manager of some sort leading the staff at the kitchen window... fun to watch and even more fun to watch all the different dishes come out of the open kitchen. Our personal favorite appetizers are Shrimp Spring Rolls, Grilled Chicken Satay Skewers, Edamame (they sprinkle a nice seasoning on top), and the Vietnamese "Meatballs". The papaya salad is THE perfect fish for a warm summer lunch or dinner-- I usually pair it with some shrimp. For entrees we recommend Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Spicy Basil Chicken, Vermicelli Salad with Lemongrass Chicken, and last but not least, the Yellow Curry Bowl with Chicken. (I warned you that we frequent this restaurant ) Don't sleep on the fried rice, it has excellent flavor and is so light but so dang delicious... order the simple side of it for $5. Thank me later! Please note that THE ONLY reason I docked one star is due to them not having an online platform to make reservations (you have to call), if I could dock it half a star for that, I would. Enjoy!!!!

Came here on a Saturday evening. It's located in such a beautiful area of Fort Worth, surrounded by so many other shops and restaurants. But the wait was about 20 minutes for 2 people. We were able to sit at the bar and have drinks while we waited. Customer service was great. Ambiance is great. Food is great. If I lived in the area, I'd be here (and in this area in general) quite often.

Decided to do something different with our kids tonight and ordered a bunch of starters. Everything was outstanding and we had a waiter in training who was doing great!

A perfect spot for a nice happy hour in Clearfork. We stopped in on a Friday night with friends and enjoyed cocktails in their beautiful atrium. The Hanoi Highballs hit the spot, alongside fresh Vietnamese and Thai eats, with the gingery cucumber salad and spicy edamame being standouts.
